*Lazure is a way to shape a room or space with color. The technique involves  using color and  pigments mixed with water and a matte medium which blends the colors together to create a faux finish. This style is used in many Waldorf Schools because it’s origination is believed to have been created by Rudolf Stiener in the early 1930’s. By using a semi-transparent matte medium as well as many layers of different colors, the finish allows light to travel through and create a spectrum of blended colors. Sample below.
